The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, is the chairman of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet. The ECC met today at the Finance Division to discuss a number of important economic issues.
Important ministers such as Minister of Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister of Petroleum Mussadiq Masood Malik, Minister of Power Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, and Minister of State for Finance & Revenue Ali Parvez Malik attended the meeting. Senior officials from related ministries also attended.
The Ministry of Communications’ synopsis of the “Execution of Framework Agreement between China and Pakistan on the Realignment of the Karakoram Highway (KKH) from Thakot to Raikot under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)” was one of the main topics of debate.
