RAWALPINDI: In separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the districts of Kech, Panjgur, and Zhob in Balochistan, security personnel have killed at least five terrorists and injured three others.

The security forces are carrying out thorough IBOs to find the people responsible for the Balochistan incident, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

The operations are taking place against the backdrop of heinous terrorist acts that, on August 26, targeted innocent citizens throughout Balochistan, according to the military’s media wing.

“On night August 29-30, in three separate IBOs in District Kech, Panjgur, and Zhob, five terrorists were sent to hell by the security forces, while three terrorists got injured during the intense fire exchange,” the statement read.
