The ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people was highlighted at a symposium named “Kashmir Struggles Under Siege” that was hosted at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Muzaffarabad.
The chief guest of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Kashmir Chapter was none other than Chaudhry Anwarul Haque, the prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Prominent speakers at the symposium included Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, the convener of the APHC, and Qamar Zaman Kaira, a senior legislator and leader of the Pakistan People’s Party. All of the speakers reaffirmed their support for the Kashmiri struggle and emphasized the differences between conditions in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Azad Kashmir.
