For the first time in more than four and a half years, star batsman Babar Azam has fallen out of the top 10 in the ICC men’s Test batting ranking, seemingly losing the brilliance for which he was revered worldwide.
The former captain appears to be in poor form as he has slid three spots to No. 12 with 712 points.
The 29-year-old’s failure to reach a half-century in his past 16 Test innings and his meagre 64 runs in just four innings at home during the just finished two-match Test series against Bangladesh further support this theory.
