During the Islamabad rally, PTI sets a two-week deadline for Imran Khan’s release.

Police disperse the crowd after they got into fights, according to the district administration, which claims PTI violated the NOC.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demonstrated its political might in the nation’s capital on Sunday by holding a large protest amid clashes with the police and pledging to take the movement to Punjab. The party also set a two-week deadline for Imran Khan’s release from jail.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur delivered the ultimatum while addressing the accused rally attendees at the Sangjani neighborhood.

“We will have the PTI founder freed ourselves if he is not legally released within one to two weeks,” the chief minister threatened, announcing that he will lead and fire first.

As the rally’s attendees assembled in the federal capital, heavy security before the event.
