As King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark ascended to the throne on Sunday, King Charles of Britain and his spouse Queen Camilla extended their “very best wishes.”
The greeting from King Charles and Camilla was posted on social media by the palace.

In the communication, the King of Britain states, “Your Majesties, In writing, my spouse and I extend our warmest greetings on this day of your coronation into the Kingdom of Denmark.
It is my pleasure to collaborate with you on important matters and to make sure that the long-lasting relationship between our nations and families endures.
“It was my pleasure that Your Majesties could join us for our Coronation last year, and I eagerly anticipate more occasions to commemorate the strong bond that binds our nations and our families,” King Charles went on.

Sunday marked the ascension of Denmark’s King Frederik X to the throne following the abdication of his mother, Queen Margrethe.
The very beloved 83-year-old queen signed a statement of abdication at Christiansborg Palace, ending her 52-year reign and immediately establishing her son as the next monarch, following a farewell horse-drawn carriage procession through the streets of Copenhagen.
