Namibia has slammed Germany’s “shocking decision” to back Israel in the genocide lawsuit at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) launched by South Africa, as Israel’s war on Gaza entered its 100th day.
Hage Geingob, the president of Namibia, stated in a statement on X on Saturday that “Germany has chosen to defend in the ICJ the genocidal and gruesome acts of the Israeli government against innocent civilians in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian Territories.”
