The captain of Pakistan has scored the most List-A centuries in 50-over domestic matches of any Pakistani cricketer, with 30 recorded in the white-ball format.
In the Champions One-Day Cup, Allied Bank Stallions defeated Dolphins with ease thanks to Azam’s outstanding 104-run innings.
With seven fours and three sixes in just 100 balls, the 29-year-old scored his undefeated century.
Azam was quite relieved by this accomplishment as he had been struggling lately. His last fifty was in a Test match that was played several months ago, and he didn’t play well in the last two ICC Cricket World Cups.
Azam’s accomplishment was recognized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a statement that said, “Babar Azam smashed his 30th List-A century, becoming the first Pakistan batter to register 30 or more List-A runs.”
