RAWALPINDI: Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has fired a new shot against the current ruling coalition by claiming that the martial law regimes of Zia-ul-Haq and Pervez Musharraf were “better” than the one in place now. This was reported by The News on Saturday.
Speaking to media on Friday at the £190 million case hearing at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, Khan claimed that people who only respected the powers that be were on one side of the divide and those who valued democracy and voting were on the other.
The former prime minister, who has been imprisoned for more than a year, has frequently criticized the administration of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for not being a legitimate one, alleging purported meddling.
