Asjad Iqbal of Pakistan and Awais Muneer of Mongolia have progressed to the IBSF World 6 Red Snooker Championship 2024 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s knockout stages.
Awais will compete in the last-20 round, while Asjad has earned a direct spot in the pre-quarterfinals.
With three victories, Asjad led the group stage. He had a great performance in his opening game of the day, winning 4-1 against Pandurangaiah of India. 41-32, 35-36, 75-08, 50-09 (with a 50-09 break), and 35-22 were the frame scores.
Asjad triumphed 4-3 over Iraq’s Alijalil Ali in another exciting match. Asjad trailed once but rallied to win with frame totals of 39-23, 30-34, 66-0, 0-41, 1-54, 39-29, and 63-0 (with a 58 break in the last frame).
