On Sunday, in the third and final game of their One Day International (ODI) series in Sharjah, South Africa triumphed over Afghanistan by seven wickets after suffering two crushing losses.
South Africa easily defeated Afghanistan’s total of 169, achieving 170/3 in 33 overs because to Aiden Markram’s undefeated 69 and Tristan Stubbs’ reliable 26*.
Afghanistan failed to repeat their overwhelming results from the previous games as they chose to bat after winning the toss. Once again, opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz stood out, hitting 89 runs off 94 balls. But despite his best efforts, Afghanistan was only able to muster 169 due to a series of unfortunate events, including three runouts.
