Prior to the boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois on Saturday night, Gallagher gave a performance in front of an enthralled crowd of 96,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.
It was Gallagher’s first performance since Oasis, his band, announced they would be doing a reunion tour in 2019 that will take them to 19 different cities in the UK and Ireland.
Even though the performer was commemorating his 52nd birthday, not everyone found his return to be impressive; some even described it as a “terrible” performance.
,Gallagher stated he sung “angelic tones” in a post on X, but then proceeded to say: “You’re not real fans; you’re just IMPOSTERS, and if you do have tickets, you wanna get them.”
The much-awaited reunion tour of Liam and his brother Noel’s British rock group Oasis was announced in August. When tickets went on sale, fans scurried to secure them.
The Gallaghers announced two more Wembley gigs in the midst of controversy surrounding the ticket sales, which saw fans wait hours in a virtual line and pay more than twice as much for some tickets.
