Judge Abida Sajjad stated she would deliver the verdict on October 14 after hearing the arguments made by both side on Wednesday.
In the Park Lane and Toshakhana instances, President Asif Ali Zardari was already granted presidential immunity.
The Accountability Court, citing President Zardari’s immunity under Article 248 of the Constitution, put a stop to the hearing of the references against him.
The ruling, rendered by Judge Nasir Javed, says that Asif Zardari cannot face criminal charges while he is still President. The plea was accepted, and no objections were voiced by the prosecution.
The ruling states that no criminal prosecution or procedure may be brought against the President under Article 248.
