After winning four Grand Slam titles together, Salisbury, 32, and longtime partner Rajeev Ram recently called it quits.
Salisbury’s connection with 34-year-old Skupski—a former world number one and major champion after winning the Wimbledon doubles title in 2023—has been made possible by this.
Together, they competed for Great Britain at the Olympics in Paris, where they were eliminated in the opening round. Earlier this year, they were paired for an ATP Tour match in Madrid.
The upcoming season, which kicks off in Australia at the end of December, will mark the beginning of their full-time collaboration.
The American veteran Ram revealed Salisbury’s breakup earlier this week.
They established one of the most fruitful alliances in the game six years ago.
In their second season together, they won their first major at the Australian Open in 2020.
They saw even more success in 2021, 2022, and 2023 in the US Open, when they won three straight championships.
