Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Thursday that a deal to sell JF-17 Block-III fighter aircraft to strengthen Azerbaijan’s air power capabilities was recently signed, as part of Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen defense cooperation with friendly nations.
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan was informed on the combat capabilities and flexible employment choices of JF-17 BLOCK-III fighter aircraft during his recent visit to Pakistan, according to the military’s media wing.
In response to President Aliyev’s visit and at the government of Azerbaijan’s request, Pakistan sent a contingent of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to Baku to take part in ADEX-2024, demonstrating the aircraft’s aerial capabilities and a static display of pride for the Pakistan JF-17 Thunder Block-III.
JF-17 conducted air-to-air refueling from the PAF Multi Role aircraft during deployment.
