Today’s torrential rains in several regions of the nation, such as Rawalpindi and Islamabad, brought much-needed respite from the recent hot. More rain is predicted throughout the day. The downpour assisted in lowering temperatures in the Potohar region and beyond.
Rain is expected in central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, according to the Met Department. Hailstorms are also a possible in remote places, especially in Kashmir, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad.
In Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Lahore, Gujrat, Jhang, Khushab, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Kasur, Okara, Khanewal, Multan, Bhakkar, Layyah, and Dera Ghazi Khan, rain is predicted for today. Several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan, are expected to see heavy rainfall.
