On September 22, Daejaun Campbell was attacked on Eglinton Road in Woolwich and later died from his injuries.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Marko Balaz, 18, of Abbey Wood, appeared in Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was accused with murder.
He was taken into jail on Wednesday, September 25, and was placed under remand to appear in the Old Bailey tomorrow.
Additionally, a male 17-year-old is scheduled to appear in Bromley Youth Court today on a murder accusation. On Friday, he was taken into custody.
The 18-year-old Abbey Wood resident Jacob Losiewicz, who was accused of murder last week, is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey today.
The family of Daejaun has been informed of the events, according to the Met Police.
Two days after the stabbing, a restriction on the possession of machetes and weapons with zombie-like designs went into place last week.
It was implemented in an attempt to lower knife-related crimes. Protesters have advocated for the prohibition of the huge blades, among them the actor Idris Elba.
