KARACHI: Humans first saw a total solar eclipse in 2024 when the clocks struck midnight, and it’s now time for the planet to see another one.

The solar eclipse, which will be the final celestial occurrence of this kind for this year, is scheduled to occur on the night of October 2–3, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

“The solar eclipse will begin at 8:43pm Pakistan time and will peak at 11:45pm,” according to the PMD. “It will end at 2:47am.”

Will Pakistan be the site of this year’s second and last solar eclipse?

Pakistan will not be able to witness this solar eclipse, according to the Met Office. Rather, it will be observed in Antarctica, North America, and South America.
