It was one of the ugliest games over the first four weeks of the 2024 season. A few Dolphins players were sidelined, including Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback. Then, with a shoulder injury, Titans supporters saw Will Levis exit the game.
Watching the epic Mason Rudolph vs. Tyler Huntley showdown at home on the news or in person at Hard Rock Stadium was mandatory. And the team that defeated the Dolphins was the Rudolph-led Titans.
In the triumph, Nick Folk tied his career high with five field goals, and running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears each scored touchdowns on the ground.
On 22 carries, Pollard gained 88 yards, including a 41-yard rush that led to Spears’ touchdown. Then, on Tennessee’s last play of the game, Pollard scored his touchdown in garbage time.
