Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Shazia Marri, claimed on Monday that Ali Amin Gandapur, a mainstay of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is going beyond his bounds in his role as chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Marri said, “The PPP is of the view that staging the protests is constitutional and democratic,” when discussing her opinions on TV.
Nonetheless, the law and the constitution should be followed when organizing the protests.
A few days prior, Marri attacked Omar Ayub, the secretary general of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Marri shared her opinions, saying that Gen. Ayub Khan’s grandson shouldn’t be teaching democracy and its principles. It is common knowledge that the PPP has made sacrifices in order to elevate democratic values throughout the nation.
“Those who are dreaming of martial law being imposed on the nation are scared,”
