Shaikh Waqas Akram, the PTI’s recently appointed communication secretary, refuted a story on Monday that Imran Khan intended to remove Barrister Gohar from his position as party chairman. He did, however, overlook a crucial announcement made earlier in the day by the former prime minister in the clarifying video: the schedule for a protest at D-Chowk on October 4.
On Monday, Khan met with party leaders at Adiala Jail and was informed about the PTI’s Rawalpindi protest that took place on September 23.
On X, a former Twitter platform, PTI social media activists stated that Khan was upset that the party officials had decided to call off the demonstration by the evening without going to Liaquat Bagh. He was also mentioned by his sister Aleema Khan as saying that “protests should not have ended.”
