Actor Juvaria Abbasi, who recently disclosed that she divorced her first husband in 2009 and got married again, spoke about her new path with her new spouse Adeel Haider on the Gup Shup podcast from Fuchsia Magazine.
The pair said that worries about what other people would think and their family’s dynamics were holding them back. Juvaria added that she was anxious about her daughter, singer Anzela Abbasi, getting married and didn’t want to put any obstacles in her way. But the couple chose to hold their nikkah ceremony on a Friday at the start of Ramadan.
Before the nikkah, I sobbed because it’s difficult to mentally accept true love when it finally finds you after a lengthy search.
