LOWER KURRAM: Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) said Wednesday that at least six people were murdered after unidentified attackers opened fire on a passenger car in the Lower Kurram district.
The car, which was traveling from Para Chamkani to Sadda, was attacked by the assailants in the Ahmad Khan Kale neighborhood.
A large police presence was sent to the scene while an investigation was conducted, the local police said, adding that the reason for the shooting was not immediately apparent.
The bodies were moved by police to the Sadda tehsil headquarters hospital for medico-legal procedures.
