In an effort to give Hamas a final warning that the enclave will be destroyed unless fighters agree to release all captives and surrender, Israel announced that it would increase bombing on Gaza on Monday in a “mighty hurricane.”
Locals claimed that Israeli forces had detonated ancient armored vehicles in the streets of Gaza City and blasted the city from the air. With President Donald Trump saying that it was the militant group’s “last chance,” Hamas said it was examining the most recent US ceasefire request, which was presented on Sunday.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz wrote on X that “a powerful hurricane will strike the skies of Gaza City today, and the roofs of the terror towers will shake.”
