According to Rashid Langrial, speaking with the Islamabad media, there are more than 4 million income tax returns, and the quantity has increased by double from the previous year.

The deadline for filing income tax returns would not be extended, he declared.

With full data on non-filers, Chairman FBR issued a warning that massive action against non-filers will start in November.

He declared that sparing the tax evader is not the Prime Minister’s directive.

Please take note that October 14 is the deadline for filing income tax returns.

Prior to this, sources disclosed on Tuesday, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) made the decision to include 2.8 million prospective households in the tax system.
