H.E. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif traveled to China from August 30 to September 4 at the invitation of H.E. President Xi Jinping. He was there to attend the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Premier Li Qiang met with President Xi Jinping during the visit, and they engaged in a thorough discussion on regional and global topics of mutual concern as well as China-Pakistan relations.
