ISLAMABAD: The News said Sunday that Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq Khan, Pakistan’s Representative for Afghanistan, will travel to Kabul early next week and issue a strong warning to Afghanistan about aiding the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
According to the diplomatic sources, Sadiq would bring up the subject of Kabul’s support for the TTP and the establishment of safe havens for them within Afghan territory.
In an effort to persuade the Taliban government not to support the TTP because this banned organization is generating violence in Pakistan, the ambassador has been traveling to Kabul on a regular basis in recent months.
