HAFIZABAD: After a protracted absence following his first public appearance on the October 21 homecoming, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has finally joined the party’s electioneering ahead of the February 8 countrywide polls.
Political parties are using a flurry of manifestos, fresh promises, and historical accomplishments to speed up their electioneering. In addition, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and PML-N are vying for the position of prime minister and are working hard to persuade voters to support them.
Nawaz gave his first public speech in Hafizabad on Thursday in relation to the impending elections, responding to his political adversaries, just one day after Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s “lion is hiding” outburst.
