KARACHI: Sahibzada Farhan, a batter from Pakistan, became just the fourth player from his nation to reach the 1,500-run mark in T20 cricket this year.
In 2025, the right-hander hit the milestone in his 35th innings. Prior to him, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan had all amassed 1,500 runs in a single year.
The three times Babar has accomplished the feat are in 2019; 2021; and 2024. Shan Masood achieved the milestone in 2022, although Rizwan did so in both 2021 and 2022.
Farhan played for Islamabad United, Peshawar Region, and Pakistan in 2025, which greatly increased his overall score.
Following his half-century against bitter rivals India in the Asia Cup Super Fours match, Sahibzada Farhan recently made headlines with his unusual celebration.
