Amid growing rumors that he would make a comeback to international cricket, former Pakistani bowler Muhammad Amir has spoken out.
Amir emphasized in an open video statement that his decision to leave the game has not changed and that he has no plans to cancel his retirement.
He went on to say that although his supporters want him to come back, Pakistani cricket needs to keep improving.
“I’ve been hearing for the last two or three days that Mohammad Amir is coming out of retirement and resuming his career. I don’t have a strategy to withdraw from retirement or make a comeback, and we haven’t discussed it. I’ve made my retirement decision, and it’s definite,” Amir stated.
