KARACHI: In their first-ever one-day international (ODI) encounter, Pakistan was able to remove the complete Indian batting lineup.
They accomplished the feat on Sunday when the Blue Shirts were bowled out for 247 in the match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Colombo.
Harleen Deol was the top scorer with 46 runs, although no Indian batsman was able to exceed 50.
Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana each grabbed two wickets, while Diana Baig took four. Nashra Sandhu and Rameen Shamim both took one wicket.
After winning the toss, captain Fatima Sana declared, “We are going to bowl first because the weather is dry and the pitch looks good.”
