Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director-General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has reaffirmed the Pakistan Armed Forces’ commitment to eliminating terrorism and the “political-criminal nexus,” which he claims is to blame for the rise in militant incidents in the province.
Lt Gen Chaudhry told reporters at Peshawar Corps Headquarters on Friday that “subsequent governments failed to ensure continuity” despite the fact that all political leaders had decided to pursue a unified approach through the National Action Plan (NAP) following the 2014 APS tragedy.
