Despite his team’s resounding victory against England in the Test series, former PCB chairman and pundit Ramiz Raja faced backlash on social media from all quarters for making fun of red-ball captain Shan Masood in a post-match interview.
Pakistan defeated England in a hard-fought Test series, winning by nine wickets in Rawalpindi a day ago to complete the series 2-1.
Shan was praised by commentators Zainab Abbas and Ramiz for leading Men in Green to a significant victory on home turf after three years.
Ramiz, however, angered internet users when he made fun of Shan for his six straight losses and batting errors, which cricket fans believed was an attempt to ruin the team’s joyous occasions.
