ISLAMABAD In the £190 million reference, a team from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s Rawalpindi office would be dispatched to arrest Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan.

According to The News on Friday, the accountability watchdog has made a decision in this regard and instructed the NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to completely collaborate with the Rawalpindi team in the province.

In order to apprehend Buhra, the NAB team will also ask the KP police for assistance.

Khan’s wife was the subject of non-bailable arrest warrants issued by an accountability court on November 22 for missing eight consecutive hearings.

Her request for an exemption from appearing in court was denied by Judge Nasir Javed Rana.
