For the first time since learning that she had skin cancer, Sarah Ferguson’s close friend has finally spoken up.
Ferguson’s close friend reportedly started out by remarking, “Sarah is a trooper,” according to a report by The Mirror.
“Most of the time, she would think of others first while she was healing herself.”
She aspires to be a motivating factor, the friend continued.
Not to add, “Sarah will make good use of her public platform and recognises she has a big role to play.”
For those who don’t know, the Duchess has battled cancer twice. She won her fight against breast cancer and was recently found to have the most dangerous type of skin cancer possible.
“The Duchess wants to thank the entire medical team which has supported her, particularly her dermatologist whose vigilance ensured the illness was detected when it was,” she stated in a statement she released at the time the news made headlines.
“She feels that her experience emphasizes the significance of examining the size, shape, color, and texture of moles as well as the appearance of new moles that may indicate melanoma.”
