Just before midnight on Friday, police were summoned to the Victoria Road area in response to an allegation of a major assault. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, Glasgow Sheriff Court is scheduled to see the adolescent who was detained and charged in relation to the death.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson stated: “We are still thinking of the deceased’s family and friends at this difficult time as they cope with their untimely loss.”
