In April 2020, full Support Healthcare reached an agreement worth £1.78 billion to supply face masks, respirators, eye protection, and aprons. This order represents the biggest Covid PPE purchase from a single supplier and represents 13% of the government’s overall expenditure.
The company, which was already a specialised PPE producer, employed 25 people and made £800,000 in profits year before to the epidemic.
Because the co-directors, Sarah Stoute, 50, and her husband Richard, 53, established the company offshore in Jersey in 2021 for privacy concerns, any gains made after the contract was fulfilled are unknown.
They continue to pay all UK taxes, along with the firm. Full Support Healthcare and the Stoutes have not engaged in any inappropriate behavior.
