A toddler whose droopy eyelids had troubled her since birth underwent life-altering surgery lately.
Two-year-old Lily Etherton was born with blepharophimosis ptosis epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES). She is from Salem, Oregon.
She was unable to fully open her eyes due to the ailment, news reported.
Etherton’s parents, Ashley and Erik Etherton, said that their daughter was prone to falling and running into objects as she matured and started to walk.
