KARACHI: Names for Sindh’s cabinet members have been finalized following approval from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, according to Geo News, citing sources on Tuesday.
According to sources, in the first phase, a 10-member cabinet will take oaths. They claimed the cabinet members would be sworn in by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today at 5 p.m.
They stated that the cabinet would include Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Sharjeel Memon, Azra Fazal Pechuho, Sardar Ali Shah, Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, Sardar Mohammad Baksh Mahar, Ali Hassan Zardari, Jam Khan Shoro, and Zulfiqar Shah.
Last month, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took the oath of office a day after he won the election with a majority of votes.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori gave the oath to Shah during a ceremony at the Governor’s House attended by key officials and PPP politicians, including party head Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
CM Shah created history by being re-elected as provincial chief executive for the third time in a row with a landslide victory.
The assembly session was presided over by Speaker Awais Qadir Shah. The election for provincial chief executive was conducted by the division of the legislature.
