At 4:42 p.m. on Monday, police stated that school employees on Alfred Road reported them while they were on patrol. The London Fire Brigade and paramedics were also present.
Tuesday, Westminster Academy reported that a “acid-like corrosive substance” was involved in a “incident outside the school building” on the main road that injured one student, one teacher, and one member of the public.

Police describe the suspect as a tall, slim, black man who rode an e-scooter. He is dressed in dark clothing and has his face covered, maybe with a balaclava or mask. No arrests have been made.

According to the Metropolitan Police, one of the victims, a 14-year-old girl, is still in the hospital with injuries that could change her life.

A 27-year-old lady has been released from the hospital, and a 16-year-old boy has been admitted with less critical injuries that are not expected to change his life.

The investigation’s main detective, Detective Chief Inspector Dean Purvis, stated that a staff member “bravely and selflessly rushed to provide first aid to the two victims,” becoming harmed in the process.

“We may not know for a while the extent of the 14-year-old girl’s injuries, but they are currently being treated as life-altering,” DCI Purvis stated, adding that the suspect made off down Harrow Road.

When two police officers reported feeling ill, they were sent to the hospital as a precaution.
