Due to his restricted position in a constitutional post, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur cautioned the province’s governor, Faisal Karim Kundi, from making political statements and getting into confrontation on Saturday.
“I am giving a warning, the post of governor is constitutional, avoid political statements and confrontation,” the chief minister stated, addressing the governor.
Two days after Gandapur threatened to take his office, the KP chief minister made his remarks in response to Governor Kundi’s statement about attacking the province governor’s residence.
Speaking at a celebration held in Dera Ismail Khan to commemorate a year since the May 9 riots, the chief minister stated he was not frightened of the governor’s control in KP. The event was organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
