Melissa was determined to put an end to a difficult break-up. A ring that her ex gave her was one of the most painful reminders from her past. The ring was gorgeous, but she felt that keeping it meant holding on to memories that were no longer important. She walked in to a jewelry shop, hoping to move on and sell the piece. As soon as the jeweler examined it, there was something off. The owner of the shop, Mr. Harris studied the item carefully. He suddenly changed his expression. He awoke with widening eyes and let out a small gasp. He told Melissa not to worry and walked into the room behind him with the ring. Melissa was confused when she found herself alone behind the counter. The ring had been hers for many years, and she never saw anything out of the ordinary about it. The ring was elegant but it wasn't rare or unique. She believed that at least. She listened carefully as she walked around. She could hear papers and drawers shifting in the backroom. He seemed to be talking to himself but the words were not clear. She became more and more uncomfortable the longer she waited. She finally called out to ask if all was well. M. Harris replied quickly and assured her that he was returning soon. He sounded nervous, even frantic, in his voice. Melissa, not knowing that things were about to change in an unexpected way, sighed as she leaned up against the counter. The visit would not end as she planned. She heard a voice in the corner of her room. "Aha. "Aha. A few moments later, Mr. Harris ran back to her holding a piece of folded paper. Melissa guessed he'd found a record relating to the ring but couldn't see what it said. He tucked the piece of paper in his pocket before she had a chance to ask. The tone of his voice changed completely. M. Harris spoke to her with a firm but polite tone. He asked her if she'd mind answering a question about herself. He asked Melissa where she got the ring when Melissa replied. Melissa realized that this wasn't just a piece of jewellery. What Mr. Harris discovered was more valuable than Melissa had imagined.

Pakistan’s players have made notable moves in the latest ICC T20I rankings following their impressive performances in the tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

Spin sensation Abrar Ahmed, young opener Saim Ayub, and T20I captain Salman Ali Agha all climbed the rankings.

In the T20I batting rankings,

  • Saim Ayub has moved up two places to 35th with 554 points.
  • Salman Ali Agha surged 11 spots, reaching 52nd with 507 points.

However, several Pakistani batters slipped down the charts:

  • Opener Farhan dropped two spots to 6th (752 points).
  • Babar Azam fell one place to 30th.
  • Mohammad Rizwan slid eight positions to 54th.
  • Fakhar Zaman dipped to 63rd after losing six spots.
  • Hassan Nawaz dropped to 81st, down five places.
  • Another wicketkeeper-batter fell to 93rd, also dropping five spots.

Globally, India’s Abhishek Sharma remains the No. 1 T20I batter, followed by Phil Salt (England) and Pathum Nissanka (Sri Lanka).

In the T20I bowling rankings,

  • Abrar Ahmed reached a career-best 4th, climbing four spots—just behind Rashid Khan.
  • Mohammad Nawaz moved up to 11th with 647 points.
  • Shaheen Afridi stayed firm at 18th.
  • Salman Mirza rose to 34th, gaining four spots.
  • Saim Ayub also improved in bowling, jumping 12 places to 39th.

Meanwhile, Haris Rauf and Faheem Ashraf dropped to 52nd and 58th, respectively.

In the T20I all-rounders’ rankings,

  • Saim Ayub reclaimed the No. 1 spot, overtaking Sikandar Raza.
  • Mohammad Nawaz climbed to 4th with 218 points.
  • Faheem Ashraf slipped to 37th, and Shadab Khan dropped to 44th.
  • Salman Ali Agha moved up eight places to 61st.

Pakistan’s mix of rises and drops reflects both emerging talent and ongoing competition in the global T20I arena.
