Referee Andy Pycroft showed favoritism during Pakistan’s recent match against India, according to an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) internal probe, which also turned up evidence of purported cooperation with Indian officials.
Sources claim that the investigation verified Pycroft’s repeated transgressions of the game’s rule of conduct.
According to the allegation, Pycroft requested Pakistani player Salman Ali Agha to turn off his microphone and listen to him during the toss, which was against the regulations.
