The king, according to Mr. Phillips, the Princess Royal’s son, is still “pragmatic” and in “good spirits.”
He said these things during on a trip to Australia, where he participated in an uncommon television interview where he spoke highly of his mother’s “work ethic” and talked about his family’s “huge affinity” for the nation.

Regarding the King’s recuperation, he stated to News Australia: “I believe that at the end of the day, he’s quite frustrated.

“He feels irritated that he isn’t able to accomplish all of his goals.

“He is incredibly self-aware and realizes that he needs to take some time to focus on himself.

However, he is also constantly pressuring his employees, including his physicians and nurses, to be able to answer, ‘Really, can I do this? Can I do that?’

“I think the overriding message would be that he’s obviously very keen to get back to a form of normality and is probably frustrated that recovery is taking a little longer than probably he would want it to.”
