In season nine of the program, the 39-year-old designer will formally join Tan France, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Antoni Porowski as a member of the Fab Five.
Last year, Berk disclosed that he had made the decision not to sign a contract tying him to four more seasons of the show.
He stated in an interview with Vanity Fair that he had “already started preparing for his next chapter,” which was a major factor in this.
He said that he had unfollowed co-star and fashion expert France on Instagram as a result of their argument.
He remarked, “Tan and I had a moment,” comparing the two to siblings and stating that “siblings are always going to fight.”
Brent, who succeeded Berk, is already well-known in the field because he created his own interior design company in 2011.
Additionally, he has made appearances on Netflix’s Say I Do, a wedding-focused spinoff of Queer Eye.
