Following an Israeli airstrike on a Washington-based NGO in central Gaza, Secretary of State Antony Blinken of the United States will conduct discussions in Paris on Tuesday. This development will increase pressure on the US to take a more assertive posture in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Before traveling to Brussels for a NATO ministerial meeting on Wednesday, Blinken made his way to the capital of France.
Before meeting President Emmanuel Macron and Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne, he is expected to tour a weapons facility with Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu, which supplies Ukraine with howitzer cannons.
