Just 1:20 into the first round of the main event at UFC 320 on Saturday, Alex Pereira defeated Magomed Ankalaev in a spectacular knockout to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight title.
The 38-year-old Pereira said he was only at 40 percent for UFC 313 in March and was seeking retribution for losing to Ankalaev by unanimous decision. Pereira (13-3-0), who had a better health record and a strong desire for retribution, continued to assault and prevented Ankalaev (21-2-1) from touching him.
