In a major move to improve healthcare in Balochistan, the Alkhidmat Foundation has formally opened its 56th hospital in Quetta.
The new building, which cost Rs 200 million, is 20,000 square feet in size.
Prominent individuals graced the inauguration ceremony, including MPA Abdul Majeed Badini, Professor Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, Dr. Hafeez Ur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Syed Ihsanullah Waqas, Vice President, and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, President of Alkhidmat Balochistan. A sizable number of locals attended the event, in addition to a varied array of political and social leaders.
The hospital’s extensive features, which include 50 beds, specialized services in general surgery, pediatrics, and gynecology, were emphasized by Dr. Hafeez Ur Rehman.
