The Awami National Party (ANP) called for the constitutional modification to rename Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) as “Pakhtunkhwa” on Tuesday.
Details indicate that Peshawar hosted the ANP consultative committee meeting. This time, the political climate of the nation was emphasized. After the meeting, the central core committee made the important choices.
The ANP had stated unequivocally that the party would not support the constitutional posts’ tenure being extended.
The ANP declared, “The party will oppose any constitutional amendments that will be against personal independence.”
The party declared, “We reject the plans to try political workers in military courts by means of a constitutional amendment.”
Nonetheless, the ANP is in favor of the constitutional changes’ judicial reforms.
