According to officials, a rooftop sniper opened fire at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, Texas, killing two inmates and gravely wounding another.
Law enforcement sources said the gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after firing randomly at the ICE facility and an unmarked van nearby.
There were no injuries to police enforcement. A picture of unused ammo found at the location was shared on X by FBI Director Kash Patel. “ANTI-ICE” is printed on one of the casings.
As ICE steps up attempts to fulfill US President Donald Trump’s promise of mass deportations, this is the most recent in a series of attacks on ICE facilities in recent months.
